Recovery Oriented Documentation

Los Angeles is destined to continue witnessing the twin crises of homelessness and mental health neglect grow ever more visible on its streets without further innovation to homeless services, specifically their funding mechanisms and accountability measures.

Mental health service providers in particular face a significant burden of compliance with a regulatory documentation structure based on inpatient hospital settings that has been poorly adapted to serve unhoused Consumers and delivers illness-centered care, prioritizing reimbursement over recovery.
Let's Compare Illness-Centered & Person-Centered Care

Using Resources More Efficiently

Under the Existing System

Services are billed by the hour using contracted rates.*

*Direct service providers billing these hours of service are often poorly compensated for their work due to the large administrative and overhead costs of running these programs using physical locations.

On ROIDSS

We provide comprehensive care for $20,080 per person per year.*

*We outsource nonessential administrative duties and minimize overhead to pay our street-based service providers equitable and livable wages for families in Los Angeles County.

OUR NUMBER ONE RULE

Treat people like people,
not billable hours.

That includes our staff.
